Entry-Level Programmer
Location: Houston, TX
Status: Full Time

Would you like a programming career at a top 10 software company in Houston that’s ranked the Number 6 Best Company to Work for in Texas? Do you have a serious desire to become a programmer, but lack the experience or degree? If so, HCSS is looking for both experienced and inexperienced tech-savvy motivated individuals to join our software development team. You will be part of a team developing innovative software solutions to real customer problems within the construction industry as well as enhancing existing estimating and job costing software products. Our team is bright, agile, and knows what it does and does not take to make great software.

A college degree is not required but preferred. We will teach people who possess an excellent ability to learn.

To join us as an Entry Level Programmer, you need:

• Strong Problem solving and analytical skills
• The ability to do extensive analysis and work independently, with minimal direction.
• The ability to think logically, communicate clearly, and be well organized.
• A high energy level and a desire to learn
• A helpful team member attitude
• A passion for writing great applications and pleasing your customers
• The ability to work as an egoless part of a team

No experience or college degree required, but you will have to take a tough 45 minute test to test your logic ability. Successful applicants will be trained.
